Cinncinati Children's Hospital Project (2010-ongoing)
Beginning in 2010, Off the Wall Gallery and Artist MacKenzie Thorpe began a project with the Cinncinati Children's Hospital to provide MacKenzie's artwork as part of the Hospital's children's wellness efforts. CCH is a leading medical research and teaching hospital consistently ranked as one of America's Best Children's Hospital by U.S. New and World Report. MacKenzie Thorpe, a world re-nowned artist who has had major exhibits in London, New Zealand, Australia & the United States, has long been involved in public and charitable works. His own foundation, the 'No One Can Catch Me" foundation, was born with the objective of encouraging and supporting individuals who are working towards specific goals by developing their creative skills. The foundation mainly focuses on children and young adults, ages five to twenty-five, who are often suffering from some kind of physical, social, or educational disadvantage. So it seemed a natural fit for Off the Wall Gallery to team up with MacKenzie and CCH on this ongoing and expanding project.
