Emilio Payes
Emilio Payes is a Spanish painter celebrated for his Impressionist-inspired landscapes, harbor scenes, and romantic views of Paris. Born in Alcoy, Alicante, in 1935, he began painting at fourteen and later studied at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Fine Arts School in Alcoy. His expressive brushwork, luminous color, and sensitivity to atmosphere bring movement and warmth to European cityscapes, coastal settings, and everyday scenes.
Payes has exhibited internationally, and private collections in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Saudi Arabia hold his paintings. Read more...
