Gadi Fraiman

Polish - Israeli | b. 1958

Born in Poland to Holocaust survivors, sculptor Gadi Fraiman moved to Israel at age eight. He turned to art as an escape from inherited trauma, finding early inspiration in the natural landscapes of his new home. Exploring alone fueled his imagination, allowing him to visualize complete sculptures mentally – a key skill he developed early on. Initially a farmer growing grapes on a kibbutz, Fraiman pursued sculpting as a hobby. At age 40, he dedicated himself entirely to his art. His signature style is marked by passion, ongoing creative development, and sculptures that convey dynamic energy and flow, appearing almost alive. Gadi's works are collected worldwide.
