Simone Benedetto

Simone Benedetto is an Italian contemporary sculptor. Born in Turin in 1985, where he lives and works. Trained in sculpture in his hometown, he developed a strong figurative foundation and an early focus on the expressive power of the human and animal forms. His artistic research centers on childhood and the animal world as symbolic territories shaped by instinct, vulnerability, and authenticity. Benedetto explores what he calls the animal soul, a shared and primal dimension where emotion comes before rational thought. His sculptures depict children and animals in moments of quiet introspection, suspended between tenderness and subtle tension.
