This mermaid-like sculpture evokes a sense of beauty and serenity. The mermaids are mythical creatures often associated with the ocean and the natural world. The use of brightly colored glass suggests the beauty and vibrancy of the underwater world. The dark metal and wood base may provide a contrast to the bright colors and ethereal form of the glass.
