Amy Shekhter, an emerging American contemporary artist, brings a fresh perspective to her work. Inspired by historic iconic figures and today’s fashion, she uses a creative mix of mediums, merging digital design with various layers of texture found in resin, glitter, paint, and crystals. What sets her apart is her ability to put a modern spin on familiar imagery, introducing younger generations to these important icons in a way that is both engaging and thought-provoking. Her pop art not only touches on materialism and values of today’s culture but also challenges our perceptions, inviting us to see these icons in a new light.
