Heart Strings
Carrie Swim
Heart Strings, Heaven and Earth Series, 2017.
Original acrylic and oil, and oil stick on canvas.
Signed at the lower margin.
Framed and wall-ready.
In her ‘Heaven and Earth Series,’ Carrie Swim explores the contrasting yet complementary forces that ground and uplift her. Drawing serves as an anchor, a grounding experience that connects her to the earth. In contrast, painting allows her to transcend the physical, letting her heart and mind soar into the ethereal realm.
