In her MFA graduating thesis series, “Testimony of Touch,” Carrie Swim explores the profound vulnerability surrounding birth and death. Through eight large-scale works, she delves into a dialogue with the divine source of life. Mind and heart are laid bare as Swim engages in prayer, dance, and the act of painting itself, transforming these processes into a powerful artistic exploration.
