Many layers, spatters, blotches, dribbles, and drips combined give gravity, depth, and spatial orientation, filling it with energy and movement. Graphismes pays homage to the abstract expressionism style of Jackson Pollock, a contemporary of his. Pollock was also very influenced by Picasso and Miro’s surrealism style.
