In The Mountain and You, Mario Jung creates a peaceful meeting place between strength and serenity. A luminous flowering tree stands beside a still blue lake, framed by distant mountains and a colorful border of blooming foliage. The panoramic composition draws the viewer across the water and into a landscape that feels open, restorative, and quietly personal.

Jung’s expressive handling of oil paint gives the central tree a rich, sculptural presence, while the cool blues of the water and mountains bring balance to the fresh greens and soft blossoms. A solitary bench rests nearby, inviting a pause to take in the view. Both uplifting and contemplative, this work celebrates nature as a source of perspective, renewal, and connection.
