Mario Jung
Vacation Mode, 2026.
Original oil painting on canvas with rich 3D impasto texture.

This artwork is wall-ready.

Mario Jung’s Vacation Mode captures the feeling of leaving daily demands behind and stepping into a world shaped by color, sunlight, and open space. A graceful white flowering tree rises above rolling fields planted in rhythmic rows, while brilliant red and yellow blossoms sweep across the foreground. Distant blue mountains complete the view, giving the landscape a refreshing sense of freedom and escape.

Jung’s thick impasto makes the flowering canopy feel almost sculptural, while richly worked passages of color bring movement to the fields below. The winding path draws the eye through the composition at an unhurried pace, perfectly reflecting the painting’s playful title. Bright, restorative, and full of optimism, Vacation Mode invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and enjoy the journey.
