In ‘Flower Blossom Lady,’ a joyous flourish of flowers, rendered in lush, textured brushwork and bombastic, fauvist color, meets the lady’s soft, pale skin and profile, gently rendered in elegant line work. Peter Max’s female profiles are one of the artist’s most pre-eminent signatures, and a collector favorite.
