French Zero Girlfriend is an original hand-drawn limited edition lithograph by the pop culture icon Peter Max. Using traditional hand lithography techniques on archival Arches paper, 100% acid-free. The work is an expressive female Pop Art portrait rendered in beautiful colors of pastel pink, aqua, rose, red, yellow, green, lavender, and black. Max uses fresh, lively brush stroke effects for detailing and defining the face, hat, and striped clothing. French Zero’s Girlfriend has an androgynous look – dramatized by the yellow flower eye patch, bold red lipstick, eyeshadow, and kelly’s green bowler hat. A riot of flowers fills the right portion of the composition, while the yellow-striped, magenta, and red-edged settee plays against a bold brushwork of aqua and light green.
