“Marilyn Crying” is a famous photo showing Monroe sitting in a car, her face streaked with tears. She is wearing a black dress, and her hair is pulled back. The photo is a rare glimpse of Monroe’s vulnerability, and it has become one of her most iconic images. The photo was taken shortly after Monroe’s divorce from DiMaggio, which was a very difficult time for her. She had been married to DiMaggio for only nine months, and their relationship had been tumultuous from the start. The divorce was finalized on October 5, 1954, and the photo was taken the following day. The photo has been interpreted in many different ways. Some people see it as a simple image of a woman crying, while others see it as a more complex statement about Monroe’s life and career. The image has been used in many contexts, including art, books, movies, and advertising campaigns.
