Samir Sammoun paints in a post-impressionist style characterized by rich colors, texture, and loose brushstrokes. His captivating works often depict landscapes, cityscapes, and seascapes, all infused with a sense of tranquility and joy. Born in Lebanon in 1952, Sammoun discovered his passion for painting at the young age of 13, finding a natural talent for using oils to convey color and light. After completing his studies at the École des Arts et Métiers in Beirut in 1969, he moved to Montreal, Canada, in 1973 and became a Canadian citizen in 1976. While he built a successful career as a telecommunications engineer, Sammoun pursued his true calling: creating art that captures the beauty, texture, and emotion of the world around him.
