Born in Lebanon in 1952, Samir Sammoun discovered his passion for painting at the age of 13, working in oils with a natural talent for color and light. After finishing his studies at the École des Arts et Métiers in Beirut in 1969, he moved to Montreal, Canada, in 1973 and became a Canadian citizen in 1976. While building a successful career as a telecommunications engineer, Sammoun pursued his true calling: creating art that captures the beauty, texture, and emotion of the world around him.
