Accomplished impressionist style painter Samir Sammoun began working with oils at the young age of thirteen at his family’s 1000-year-old olive plantation in Beirut, Lebanon. As the son of an olive grove farmer, he always found inspiration in the surrounding landscape. In Verger en Fleurs (“Orchard in Bloom”), he captures the fleeting magic of spring with his signature impressionistic touch. Blossoming olive trees sway gently in the breeze, their white petals glowing against a vibrant backdrop of sunlit greens and golden highlights. Using masterful brushstrokes, Sammoun layers rich, textured strokes that bring movement and depth to every branch, leaf, and blade of grass. The result is a scene alive with color, light, and the quiet poetry of nature in renewal.
