Berton’s journey to becoming a painter was a unique one. She first started as a model but soon realized her passion wasn’t in being the subject, but in creating the story behind the camera. This shift led her to painting, where she discovered her true voice. Her style, though minimalist in form, is rich with character, intensity, and a compelling story. Her works are large-scale, often depicting women in powerful, frontal or three-quarter poses, usually set against a deep, solid background.
