The Death (La Mort) (1969) is an original hand-colored copper etching by Salvador Dalí from the celebrated Vignettes from Venus in Furs series. Published by Pierre Argillet, Dalí’s close friend and longtime collaborator, the work was inspired by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch’s iconic literary masterpiece.
