DTMMLF? (Does That Make Me Look Fat) is a series of original works on paper by Tom Everhart created in 2005. In this body of work, Everhart reimagines Snoopy and other Peanuts characters with bold, oversized forms and exaggerated presence, exploring themes of body image, self-perception, and humor. Rendered in vibrant acrylic on archival paper, the series combines playful cartoon imagery with painterly abstraction. The layering of color, expressive brushwork, and large-scale figures highlights Everhart’s ability to transform Schulz’s familiar characters into fine art with emotional depth. At its core, the series blends lighthearted wit with deeper commentary on how we view ourselves, making it both visually striking and conceptually engaging.
